Public spacesDesigning connections

From bustling airport lounges to serene libraries, every shared environment thrives on its ability to create comfort and trust. At the heart of these spaces lies thoughtful design, and a key element of that design is the furniture that welcomes, supports and inspires.

Adaptive Designs for a Dynamic World

The way we use public spaces is evolving. Our R&D team constantly explores new materials, designs, and technologies to adapt to these changes. From modular systems that can be reconfigured to weather-resistant outdoor collections, we develop and adapt to meet the challenges of a modern, dynamic world.

Modular and Flexible Designs

Our commitment to modularity and flexibility is ingrained in our design DNA. This is evident in various modular systems in our collection, for example the Rostrum and Sabot collections, designed by Benjamin Hubert. Rostrum offers an infinitely scalable system with a sophisticated design language, while Sabot presents a playful arrangement of abstract volumes that can be configured into various shapes, ideal for dynamic spaces like lobbies and breakout areas. The Klaster system, comprising 14 modules, allows for maximum creativity in arrangement, making it suitable for both domestic and public interiors. Additionally, the Spectrum System offers a modular setup with expressive components, providing versatility and adaptability for diverse settings. These modular designs showcase our expertise in creating versatile, comfortable, and adaptable seating solutions that blend into various environments.

Our collections for public spaces

In public spaces, furniture serves as an unspoken invitation—to sit, to stay, to enjoy. Every curve, texture and detail is an expression of hospitality. By designing furniture that fosters comfort, we enable public spaces to achieve their ultimate purpose: creating comfortable and relaxed moments.

Explore our Public Spaces projects

Public spaces serve distinct functions, and our design philosophy prioritizes creating furniture that aligns with those functions. A cultural centre requires iconic pieces that inspire while providing comfort. Airports need durability and ergonomics for long hours of waiting, while hotels must exude elegance and relaxation.

Manufacturing Culture In-House

Prostoria’s Croatian factory stands as the beating heart of our brand. It is here that 100% of our furniture collection is crafted in-house, uniting R&D, technology, and production under one roof. This synergy allows us to explore groundbreaking levels of comfort, innovation, and functionality. What began with artisanal craftsmanship has evolved into industrialized production, where our craftsmen and designers continually push boundaries, focusing on every detail with precision and care.
