Hotel Osmoliš near Dubrovnik pairs raw concrete architecture with Prostoria’s refined furniture, creating a balanced interplay of texture, form, and coastal serenity.
The interior design of Hotel Osmoliš near Dubrovnik, completed in 2021, was a collaborative effort by Numen/ForUse, Vanja Magić and Ivana Jonke. Conceptually aligned with the modernist concrete shell designed by architect Damir Vitković, the hotel’s interior retains raw concrete as a key finish while incorporating warm wooden cladding for tactile comfort.
Fully furnished with Prostoria’s collection, the hotel features Polygon, Oblique, and Trifidae armchairs; Dobra, Bik, Strain, and Oblikant chairs; Monk bar stools; and the Osmo outdoor collection. Notably, this project led to the development of Prostoria’s modular Klaster sofa and Jugo outdoor collection, showcasing their versatility. The furniture’s delicate forms and chromatic playfulness contrast beautifully with the architecture’s weighty concrete structure, creating a serene yet dynamic atmosphere that complements the panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea.
